Hello, I am Daniel Mora Garcia
I am a Christian disabled photographer in San Diego, I was in a car accident (T-boned by an uninsured driver) that left me 75% of the time in a wheelchair, still relearning how to walk, hand crushed, missing teeth and gave me a stroke. I thank God I survived. I was an event photographer before but when I took my Christianity more serious, I had to stop taking photos of all the bar events like Mardi gras, fat Tuesdays and so on, also stopped all the boat cruises where things get wild and crazy, you wouldn’t believe all the debauchery that takes place. I was also taking photos of nature and landscapes before but now it’s my main focus. I plan to display photos of nature and landscapes along of places I go to sightsee. Sorry no Chads or bikini babes photos.
As a Christian things have been rough, all my so called friends ghosted me like I fell off the planet, no one wants to be around “ a goodie two shoes”, even those that used to borrow money from me disappeared. It’s taken me over a year to learn to walk 5 blocks without any support from people. And that’s fine I read my bible and pray, and I finally found a church that preaches the word of God without watering it down to satisfy the culture around us. Even with all these medical and financial problems it doesn’t diminish the grace and blessings I feel from God. I have good days and bad days physically and at times it feels like I’m overwhelmed with pain ( leg feels like I’m getting hit with a taser while it’s on fire like a lighter under your foot) and sorrow it’s ok for I know the Lord is there to help me and I carry on and so can you, no matter what the world throw at you Christ is there.
Along with photos I will be posting blogs of my adventures, not sure on the frequencies since my typing skills have diminished until I get further surgeries on my right hand. But I will try to do as many as I can. Remember all things are possible with Christ it’s just our harden hearts that get in the way. Just started a Facebook page and Instagram hopefully see you there as well.
